Job description:"I performed a wide variety of tasks at Spike. My foremost responsibilities included giving editorial feedback on English language texts, assisting in composing newsletters and blurbs, and posting content to the magazine's website. I also did a lot of general web management as well as maintenance on the magazine's archive. I also did research on web design, art job platforms, and various artists.

I learned about clear communication across linguistic barriers, and got valuable experience defending my editorial choices. Most of my day-to-day work was repetitive web maintenance, but I particularly enjoyed the editorial process and gained insight into how it can work smoothly and how it can break down."
